Little by little, their experiment became a real business that changed the way people eat. Since then, HelloFresh went from a small start-up to a sustainably profitable, publicly traded group company (listed in 2017), spanning 18 countries with its 8 brands shipping over 1 billion meals every year to its customers.
Despite our immense success to date, we remain as ambitious as on Day 1: with the capabilities we built over the last twelve years we have an unfair advantage to enter and go after a number of additional consumer categories and expand our share in existing verticals.
My team is at the forefront of personalization and forecasting at HelloFresh Group. Our impact equals our ambition in personalizing our customers menu experience and choices and thus changing the way people eat, forever.
Internally, we focus on developing best-in-class forecasting capabilities to significantly reduce food waste and minimize our environmental footprint. Our work enables our operations to function just in time and just in volume, reducing the need for large buffers and increasing overall efficiency.
To achieve this, we operate as a cross-functional team of backend engineers, data engineers, data scientists, and applied scientists—united by a bold mindset, a shared ambition, and a commitment to continuous learning.
