Through initiatives like our colleague forums (the FreshForum and Zero Harm Committee), we foster connections across teams, promote a safe and inclusive workplace, and encourage open dialogue. We also celebrate meaningful occasions with our Culture Committees, marking important religious and cultural events to create a truly inclusive atmosphere.

Transparency and fairness are at the heart of our approach. We outline clear policies to ensure equal treatment, uphold operational standards, and provide ongoing anti-discrimination and inclusion training. Additionally, employees have several avenues to voice any concerns, including a whistleblowing system managed by an external provider. This confidential service enables employees to submit concerns 24/7, either online or by phone, and even anonymously if preferred.

 The safety and welfare of our people is our number one priority.

Regardless of their role, everyone at HelloFresh plays an important part in executing our zero-harm approach and is responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of our colleagues and the people within the communities in which we work. 

We achieve this by empowering our people to have the confidence to challenge behaviours and act when we feel something does not look and feel safe. Our employees have various internal platforms (e.g. Fresh Forum) to raise concerns or can use or our Speak Up platform provided by an external provider. This enables our team members to submit complaints by telephone or via an online platform 24/7, even anonomously.

Making a Difference: Giving Back to our Community & Colleagues

We are dedicated to supporting our colleagues and communities by addressing food insecurity and reducing waste. 

So far, we have donated over 10 million boxes to the Felix Project, helping resdistribute surplus food to those in need across the UK. Through partnerships with local food bank charities at our sites, we are committed to supporting our neighbours facing food insecurities. 

We also offer our employees generous discounts on boxes and a membership to our company shop, where they can access discounted surplus goods. This promotes sustainable choices while ensuring that good food is shared, not wasted.

At HelloFresh, we strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels confident to be their authentic selves. Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are employee-led communities that support underrepresented groups, drive DE&I initiatives, and provide valuable insights.
